Big Data Academy
Cloudera Academic program agreement is made and entered into as of 5th June,2015, between Cloudera Inc. And G. S. Mandal’s Maharashtra institute of Technology, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, in witness of Prof. Munish Sharma Director General G. S. Mandal’s Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad and Mr. Wayne Kimber, V. P. Finance and PAO, Cloudera Inc. Through academic partnerships, cloudera helps provide world class Hadoop training to university level students across the globe.
Cloudera Academic Program are focused on developing professionals to drive the “Operational Efficiencies” of Apache Hadoop. The training content provided through this partnership provides students the knowledge necessary to begin their big data journey and exploit the advantages that Hadoop offers. The training and experience gained through CAP puts students in a position to immediately find interesting employment in diverse industries and continue down the path of advanced analytics. Cloudera Inc. Providing the academic institution with access to certain of Cloudera product.
Cloudera Academic Partnership Goals
- Provides students with high-quality Hadoop instruction and courseware; preparing them to enter the workforce during a once-in-a-generation cycle of technological innovation.
- Certify student’s with cloudera professional credentials to complement their university degree
- Create an environment; in collaboration with CAP members, in which students, professor and research staff participate in creating the economic, social and technical breakthrough which are possible through big data.
