The Central Library is spread over 600 square meters with ground floor and mezzanine floor of the MIT Digital Library. It has over 37500 volumes, over 150 periodicals and hundreds of CDs, DVDs, e-learning material, etc. It comprises of the following Sections:
Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) Agricultural Engineering departmental students developed innovative terrace farming. It is very unique concept in Marathwada region. The organic vegetables can be grown effectively on the terrace in the metropolitan & semi metropolitan cities that can fulfill the need of many more families. This concept was applied in the area of 4000 sq. ft. in 2014 under the innovative researcher Dr. Deepak Bornare recently completed Ph.D from IIT Bombay in Agricultural Engineering area. To develop this terrace
farming, terrace was covered completely with plastic paper and the shed was made by GI pipes. For this project Rs. 1, 42,080/- expenditure was spent over it. Rs. 36,000/- expenditure was spent to make the bed which is made of 18 brass rock soil. Rs. 1, 60,000/- the amount was spent to setup drip irrigation foggers.
