About MIT, Aurangabad

MIT, a pioneering self-financed institute in Marathwada region is imparting Engineering,  Technology, Architecture Education and PG in Business Administration. This is approved by the authorities of State and Central Government and affiliated to  Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Moreover, the institute has received NAAC “Grade A” accreditation and SIRO certification by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. MIT offers a wide range of regular and specialized courses in Engineering and Architecture and some of them being ventured with National and International Institution. Over the last two decades, MIT has been involved in organizing events to promote close interaction between industries and educational institutions to enable faculties and students to get exposed to changes due to globalization. MIT has a rich infrastructure in terms of laboratory equipment, workshop machines and tools, modern computer center and spacious computerized Library with a large number of titles and volumes in each discipline. MIT has developed strong linkages between industry, government & non-government organization. MIT is a pioneer in establishing a mutually beneficial triangular partnership among academic institutions, industry and government organizations. MIT has been associated with hundreds of companies’ for imparting students training and placement. It also provides solutions to live problems and works on research projects of industries.

About Aurangabad

Aurangabad is known as ‘Tourism Capital of Maharashtra’, due to its a close connection on to renowned tourist destinations such as caves of Ajanta and Ellora which have been declared ‘World  Heritage Sites’ by UNESCO as well as the famous Mughal monument Bibi ka Maqbara. Aurangabad is also known as “City of Gates”. The city is linked with Mumbai and Pune by air, rail and road and an excellent road network connect Aurangabad with the rest of the state as well as the country. Aurangabad also serves as a transit point for Pitalkhora, Daulatabad, Khultabad, & Paithan.

Objectives of  the  conference:

Plastic and Polymer  Engineering Department is organizing  MATA-2019 with the aim of gathering together scientists, researchers, academicians and students to generate discussion and promote scientific information interchange in the field of materials for advanced technology. Papers are invited in the form of oral and poster presentation in the following areas of material science and technology.
