MIT is an approved ESCO. Impaneled as an Energy Service Company approved by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power. MIT conducts energy audit training for industry and runs MEDA supported short term courses. 

MIT works with various state energy development authorities like MEDA, GEDA, CEDA, MPEDA, etc. It relates to conducting various energy audit programs, awareness programs for energy conservation, and involving students’ participation and training. MIT ESCO is an active member of the Energy Cell of Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA).
