For Indian Students:


If you have passed 12th Std. (HSC or equivalent) and satisfy eligibility criteria as below, then you can seek admission to following courses:
First Year of B.Tech. :

  • Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education OR its equivalent examination AND secured minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Physically Handicapped, belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory and any one of optional subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, or Technical Vocational Subject added together AND Candidate should have a valid MHT-CET OR JEE Score.
  • Admissions will be affected based on marks obtained at MHT-CET 2017. And if the seats remain vacant, then merit based on marks obtained at JEE Mains Paper – I will be considered.
  • Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the AICTE approved Polytechnics AND should have a valid MHT-CET OR JEE Score.
  • Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the AICTE approved Polytechnics are also eligible for Direct Second Year in an appropriate respective branch in case of vacancies arising after Direct Second Year Admissions as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority.

If you are a Diploma holder and satisfy eligibility criteria as below, then you can seek admission to the following course:

Direct Second (lateral entry) Year of B.Tech:

  • You should have passed three years Diploma examination in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE approved institutions, with at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

If you are a graduate and satisfy eligibility criteria as below, then you can seek admission to any of the following courses:

First Year M.Tech. :

  • Candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology, specified by the concerned University for admission to a particular Postgraduate course from an AICTE approved institutions, with at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) AND should have obtained score in GATE.

For First Year of MBA:

  • Candidate should have passed and obtained minimum of 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full-Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination AND should have obtained score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET or Tests like GMAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT, CMAT, etc.

For ALL above courses

It is mandatory for all candidates desirous to seek admission to professional courses to complete the formalities of registrations on the DTE website (www.dte.org.in) on appropriate portals, verification of Documents at any of the Facilitation Centers (in the state of Maharashtra) and possession of a merit number. This is applicable for admissions under both CAP as well as Institute Level (Management Quota) Rounds.

  • The eligibility criteria mentioned above are subjected to the guidelines from the respective competent authorities from time to time.
  • Reservation norms will be as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority / State Govt. / DTE / University as applicable.
  • All types of Scholarships are offered to the eligible ones as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission For International Students


For B.Tech. courses:

  • Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std. XII / 10+2) examination or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject can be considered in place of Chemistry)
  • Should have secured minimum 50 % marks in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry added together.

For M.Tech. courses:

  • Candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering / Technology, from Govt. approved & University affiliated institutions, with at least 50 % marks.

For MBA course:

  • Candidate should have passed a full-time Bachelor Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline from Govt. approved institutions & University-affiliated, with at least 50 % marks.

Tentative Fees Structure For The Courses At MIT Institutes


 

The Tentative Tuition Fees structure is as below: (Academic Year 2018 – 19**):

For B.Tech., courses (affiliated to Dr BAMU) – INR. 84,000/-
For MBA course – INR. 69,000/-

Scholarship Schemes


The students are entitled to scholarship/concession in fees depending upon the category/caste of the candidate and subject to the condition that they should be a domicile of the state of Maharashtra and have been admitted through CAP rounds only. (CAP= Centralized Admission Process). Details are given in the table below:

In case of students admitted through CAP under the categories like SC, NT, VJ, SBC, OBC and TFWS; the students are not required to make the payment of the amount which is exempted, say for example SC and ST claimant will pay only security deposit and other fees, whereas NT, VJ, SBC and TFWS category students will pay the development fees in addition to security deposit and the other fees at the time of admission. Students admitted under OBC category will have to pay half of the tuition fees, complete development fees & security deposit and the other fees at the time of admission; however, students claiming EBC will be required to pay the full fees at the time of admission. The amount of concession as EBC (Economically Backward Category) will be reimbursed by the respective competent authority, which will be directly deposited in the bank account of the student as DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Scholarship for Minority students: The Minority communities identified are Muslim, Christian, Sikh and Jain. Such student who has been admitted through CAP and who belongs to any of the above minority communicates and fulfilling the norms can apply for either State or National Minority Scholarship Schemes. However, these students will not get any kind of concession in fees at the time of admission and will have to make full payment of fees.

Education Loan


Several Banks offer Education Loans for payment of Tuition Fees as well as Hostel Charges. Expenditure Certificates can be issued by the Institutes is the case you wish to apply for Education Loans. You then approach your Bank and process the same for seeking education loan.
