The Department of Civil Engineering was formed with the primary objective of providing quality education, while addressing the problems of present & future. Strength of the department lies in the highly motivated staff and students who understand the dynamics of the industry and hone their skills accordingly. Keeping in the view syllabus of this department is highly matching with the today's requirements.

To develop the department as Centre of Excellence in Civil Engineering by using modern teaching learning techniques with global perspectives to make technologically superior and ethically strong engineers



Mission

To impart knowledge to civil engineering students for the betterment of the society by

  •   Educating and training in the latest technologies ,
  •   Developing self-confidence in tackling diverse problems of civil engineering,
  •   Imbibing human values.
Program Educational Objectivies
  •   To prepare the students with strong fundamental knowledge in Mathematics, Science, English and Engineering Sciences so as to enable them to analyze the Civil Engineering related problems (Preparation).
  •   To develop ability among the students for acquiring technical knowledge in the subjects and gaining the technical skills. (Core competence and professionalism).
  •   To provide opportunities for students to work with all related fields of engineering enlarge the ability among the students to understand the different industrial environments (Breadth).
